The 2nd Annual Yarn Crawl was awesome! A BIG thank you to each of the 23 yarn shop owners for another fab year! www.YarnAlongTheRockies.com
It was tricky for us this year as we had just relocated from 17th and Larimer 4 weeks before the Yarn Crawl! I thought the Yarn Crawlers would have trouble finding us, but they did not! They came from near and far! From all over the United States. We met some wonderful people who are passionate about knitting and crocheting!

Me; I just tried getting in as many crochet stitches as I could between Crawlers!
It's a difficult job, but somebody has to do it!
When I am not crocheting in my Yarn Shoppe what am I doing? So glad you asked! I am the President of the Denver Crochet Guild. Our monthly Guild meetings are on the first Saturday of each month from 11:00am - 12:30pm. Just pull up to one of the many vacant meters in front of my YS that Saturday morning and plug it for 1.5 hours $1.50, also the parking garage right next to my front door offers discounted parking after 4:00pm on week days and all day Saturday. So come in and join the party!

OUR WINDOWS!
I am also married to the most amazing man who has literally transformed each window display into retail display magic! DeForest is responsible for all of the beautiful window displays you see in my YS each week. People come from near and far (literally) from out of state to see his windows, and to buy his vintage handbags! www.VintageHandbagsDenver.com. Genuine designer and vintage handbags that have been previously loved! They are not consignment as he searches all over and shops for the merchandise including when we travel. DeForest has been buying all of my handbags, shoes and accessories for 30 years! Just so happens that women love yarn AND purses!
We are a RED storefront now on Tremont and 16th St Mall
People are really surprised when I tell them that I am a 30 year litigation paralegal. I love the law and getting cases ready for trail. I think having the skills for litigation and logistics, really helped me open a retail store. I also think it helps with my Videos on www.eHow.com and my annual Spring Yarn Knit Out and Crochet Community Events!
FAMILY
At the end of the day, Family is all that matters. I am so blessed to have such a fantastic family, husband, kids and my Mom who is 72 years young! ALL of my family is so very supportive of me and my business. We are a family owned and operated business and we all have our specialty in what we do to bring the business together as a whole. I love my family, and we want to see your face in our new place!
